On Thursday, 14th of October, the workshop INCOME's Register of pollutants: a success story or a blind alley? was held at JP VODOVOD-KANALIZACIJA premises. Workshop was organized by JP VO-KA, the main supporting partner of project INCOME, intended for the establishment of an effective management of contaminated aquifiers. The workshop was lead by Dr. Brigita Jamnik in cooperation with other INCOME members, and was intended to present the register of actual and potential pollutants to the experts and general public. Representatives of various state institutions, local communities, public utility companies and experts from the field of environment preservation, who attended the workshop, agreed, that a declaration regarding the centralization of metadata basis and methodology establishment, that would enable tracking of dangerous chemicals in Slovenia region, should be prepared and sent to competent state institutions.
