How to overcome (apparent) conflict of interests?
Today’s supplement of the informative daily newspaper Delo, Science, has brought the article titled “How to overcome (apparent) conflict of interests?”, written by authors Brigita Jamnik (JP Vodovod-Kanalizacija) and Andrej Simončič (Agricultural Institute of Slovenia). The article brings forward two views on farming and in particular on the use of the plant protection agents: the view of a drinking water system operator and the view of the agricultural branch, that are merged into single conclusion and are not contradictive. The improper use of plant protection agents currently represents the most serious threat to Ljubljana’s water resources. One of the goals of INCOME project is to prevent improper use of these agents.
